Precious Adade Duodu

Precious Adade Duodu is a senior nursing academic with appointments in the UK and Ghana. With over 50 outputs, including peer-reviewed publications, commissioned reports, and policy briefs, his research focuses on non-communicable diseases—particularly diabetes, hypertension, stroke, and dementia—with emphasis on self-care, health literacy, and public health nutrition as foundations for prevention and management. He has served as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on funded projects across the UK, Ghana, Nepal, and India, contributing to multi-country studies on NCDs, diabetes self-care, dementia care, nursing regulatory reform, and nursing workforce development. His methodological expertise spans mixed-methods, multi-methods, systematic, narrative, and integrative reviews, and participatory approaches. He serves on local, national, and international advisory, community, and non-governmental organisations and groups to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in healthcare and education, while advancing health equity in underserved communities through education, service, research, and innovation through collaborative leadership, strategic partnerships, and evidence-informed practice that drive sustainable global health impact.
